Hawaii travel

If you are planning to take a trip to Hawaii, it is very important that you know about a couple of helpful hints that may help you along your journey. I am going to tell you about some tips that you should take into consideration when you are planning to go swimming or snorkeling, you can never be too safe so make sure that you take these hints into consideration when you are fixing to do any of the two activities. You want to make sure that you and your family remains as safe as possible.
When swimming please take into the following considerations:
1) All beaches on the Hawaii Island are public beaches; all you have to do is look for the blue signs that are labeled Shoreline Access.
2) Make sure that you always take someone swimming with you; you never want to swim alone. You always want to have a buddy with you in case something comes up and you need them for something.
3) Make sure that you never face the shore with your back to the ocean, you never want to turn your back on the ocean, and you always want to keep an eye on what is going on out there in the water as an extra precaution.
4) Before you decide to go diving it is important that you check the depth of the water first. You don't want to take and dive in before checking because you could be diving into a patch of rocks.
5) Also make sure that you avoid slippery rocks and tide pools. You never know what are in the tide pools or how deep they are and if you walk on slippery rocks you take the chance of falling and getting hurt.
6) Make sure that you avoid waves that are breaking at the shoreline, they can cause you to fall and get hurt, they can also cause you to go under the way and that could be very dangerous if you don't know how to swim.
7) Be very careful if you stubble across some unfamiliar marine life that you are not sure what they are, they could bite you depending on what species they are.
Before you go snorkeling there are also some tips that you need to take into consideration.
1) Do not go snorkeling alone; just like swimming you need to always have a buddy because you never know what could happen.
2) Make sure that you wear gear that fits your body snug.
3) Make sure that you enter the water at the sandy areas and that you avoid coral reefs.
4) Make sure that you put your fins on in the water and not before getting into the water.
5) Make sure that you avoid live coral because it takes a long time to grow and you don't want to disturb it.
