Emerald Bay in Laguna Beach is a premier gated community in Laguna Beach, California.  In 2010 we saw 14 homes sold in Emerald Bay ranging from a $2,000,000 short sale property that features 5 bedrooms, 3 baths and approximate 5,488 square feet to a $7,650,000 Emerald Bay home that was located on the ocean side of Pacific Coast Hwy and featured 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and 3700 square feet.  Emerald Bay has two sides for the community.  One is located on the about Pacific Coast Hwy and the other side is located on the beach side of Pacific Coast Highway with direct access to the beach.  The two communities are linked together through a tunnel that a one car garage can fit through.  The tunnel is located right under the Pacific Coast Highway.  Outside visitors have no access to Emerald Bay and Emerald Bay beaches do not allow for outside tourists to visit.  The community is a harbor to many boats during the summertime and is often referred to a the California Riviera.
